Introduction

This is part 8 of my series, Mastering CSS3. In this part of the series, we look at the colors you can use in HTML and CSS. In the tutorial, “CSS3 Color Basics” of the series, “CSS3 Basics” we saw 16 colors. Here we shall see all the colors that are supported by almost all browsers. I assume you have read the previous parts of the series before reaching here; this is a continuation. You will have to display the web page code below to see the colors and their code. In your web page design, you can use either the colorname or the color code. When you display the web page below, do not worry about the Hexadecimal RGB column you see on the page, for now.
